In November, I was lucky enough to attend the Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s monthly Board meeting. Along with Rashida from YPAG, we were asked to deliver the ‘News in Brief’, thus ‘taking over’ the role of the Trust’s CEO, Sarah-Jane Marsh. While initially a little daunting, it was lovely to share the successes of the Trust over the past month, and both Rashida and I were able to give our own opinions on some of the relevant points as young people.
